It’s reported Roma are on the verge of signing Jordan Veretout from Fiorentina, freeing Inter to pursue Cagliari midfielder Nicolò Barella.
There are several players who have emerged as targets for numerous clubs this summer and €25m-rated Veretout is one of them.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the latest proposal for Veretout is close to being accepted by both Fiorentina and the player, as part of a swap deal with Gregoire Defrel.
This would allow the Giallorossi to beat Milan, Inter and Arsenal in their pursuit of Veretout.
