La Repubblica reports today that Roma have decided to let under-fire Coach Rudi Garcia complete the season in order not to lose the opportunity of Conte’s arrival.

The newspaper believes that the former Juve boss is attracted by the idea of working in the capital but hasn’t offered any sort of commitment to the club for the future.

The Premier League is believed to be a personal objective for the 46-year-old and the Chelsea job will be available in the summer after Jose Mourinho’s sacking.

Guus Hiddink has moved to Stamford Bridge on an interim basis, but the report suggests that the Blues could attempt to bring in Conte after considering him as a plan B to Mourinho in 2013.

However, Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone, Bayern Munich’s departing coach Pep Guardiola and a permanent deal for Hiddink are also potential candidates for the position.
