Roma have been charged by UEFA after fans set off fireworks, while Besiktas could be sanctioned for a pitch invasion by a cat.
Tuesday and Wednesday saw the completion of the Champions League Last 16 ties, with the Giallorossi joining Juventus in the Last 16 by beating Shakhtar Donetsk.
However, today UEFA has announced that proceedings have been opened against the club after fans set off and threw fireworks.

However, today UEFA has announced that proceedings have been opened against the club after fans set off and threw fireworks.
It’s also alleged by the governing body that ball boys wasted time toward the end of the game, with Shakhtar's Facundo Ferreira pushing one over an advertising hoarding.
Meanwhile, Besiktas have been hit with three charges, including one for a pitch invasion by a local cat.
The Turkish club must answer charges of stairways being blocked and objects being thrown in their 1-3 loss to Bayern Munich.
To add insult to injury though, it also appears they have been charged for the fact the game was delayed to remove a cat from the pitch.
Besiktas have been charged with “insufficient organisation”, under Article 16 Section 1 of the disciplinary code which states “host clubs and national associations are responsible for order and security both inside and around the stadium before, during and after matches”.
Given that Section 2, which is what the first of Roma's charges falls under, deals with misbehaviour by supporters, it appears the charge is for the feline invasion.
The decisions will be taken on May 31.
