Roma met with Torino today to discuss their proposal for Italy right-back Matteo Darmian.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Walter Sabatini had a meeting with Granata President Urbano Cairo in Milan this evening.
The Giallorossi intend to sign Darmian during the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old right-back has also been linked with Inter and has a contract with Toro until June 2017.
Darmian has one goal from 17 Serie A games this season, but also bagged two in the Europa League.
