UEFA have lifted a three-match ban on Nicolò Zaniolo, so the Italy international is available for tomorrow’s Europa League clash against Ludogorets.

The Italy international was sent off in Roma‘s home clash against Real Betis last month for a kick at an opponent off the ball. Therefore, he missed the reverse fixture in Spain and last week’s match against HJK.

The Giallorossi had asked to reduce the ban to two games and their request was accepted by UEFA who have now cut Zaniolo’s ban. This means that the Azzurri starlet will be available against Ludogorets tomorrow as long as he is fit to play.

The 23-year-old picked up a knock in Monday’s Serie A match against Hellas Verona and will be assessed today.

Zaniolo has scored one goal and delivered one assist in 10 appearances across all competitions this season.

Both Roma and Ludogorets have seven points each in Group C, but the Giallorossi must win to qualify for the Europa League play-offs having lost the reverse fixture 2-1 last month.
