Milan full-back Sergiño Dest is available for tonight’s Champions League clash against RB Salzburg, while Olivier Giroud sent a motivational message on Instagram.

The Rossoneri will face the Austrian side in the final match of the Champions League group stage and need a win or a draw to qualify for the Round of 16.

Dest didn’t train with the rest of the team on Tuesday, but multiple reports in Italy, including Il Corriere Dello Sport, Calciomercato.com and Milannews claim he’s joined the group today, so he will be available tonight.

However, the defender on loan from Barcelona is not expected to start, with Stefano Pioli picking Pierre Kalulu, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and The Hernandez in a four-man back-line.

Olivier Giroud will start up front. The ex-Chelsea and Arsenal striker posted an Instagram story to motivate fans and teammates ahead of tonight’s crucial match.

“The Champions League in the head, the destiny in the hands. Strength in the heart: it happens to those who believe in it,” the message reads.

The last time Milan qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 was in 2013-14 with Massimiliano Allegri in charge.
