The 45-year-old last took charge of the Diavolofor the 3-1 defeat to Roma on the final day of last season, while Juve’s last game with Rizzoli was a 4-1 win over city rivals Torino, where Sami Khedira was sent-off.

Elsewhere, Paolo Tagliavento will be the man in the middle for the Derby della Lanterna, while Daniele Doveri will run the rule over Inter’s trip to Atalanta.
