Gianni Rivera believes Juventus can progress in the Champions League – but it would make Napoli Scudetto favourites.
The Bianconeri take on Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Last 16 tie on Tuesday, and the former Italian international believes they can reach the next stage.
“Anything is possible,” Rivera told Radio Cusano Campus.
“Football is beautiful because it’s unpredictable, you never know what will happen during a game.

“It’s a very complicated draw, but Juve have shown they can play on a par with even the best teams in Europe.
“The Scudetto? It’s between Juve and Napoli, I don’t think you can put any other teams in there.
“If Juve were to advance in the Champions League they’d have a few more problems than Napoli, who are in a less onerous European competition [the Europa League].”
Rivera was then asked to assess the national team’s chances at the European Championships this summer.
“We won our qualifying group quite easily. That’s a good sign. There are high hopes, and so far the squad has reacted well.
“They can also overcome obstacles a bit more complicated than the ones faced in qualifying.”
