Daniele De Rossi has confirmed Chris Smalling will soon be available again for Roma, against Inter or Feyenoord.
The English centre-back has only played three Roma games this season, making his last appearance in a home game at Milan on September 1.
The ex-Manchester United centre-back has been dealing with tendinitis for several months, but De Rossi said on Sunday that the 34-year-old’s return to the pitch is around the corner.
“With Chris, we changed the workload because it wasn’t too heavy. He will return against Inter or Feyenoord,” said DDR.
Roma host Inter at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday, February 10, and visit Feyenoord in the first leg of the Europa League knock-out play-off just five days later on February 15.
