Antonio Conte picked up a 0-0 draw in his first Premier League match in charge of Tottenham, but Spurs players are reportedly very happy with the Italian coach’s methods.
Conte signed an 18-month deal with the North London club last week, replacing Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Premier League side have collected one win and now draw in Conte’s first game in charge of the team.
Tottenham managed a 3-2 win against Vitesse in the Conference League and were held to a 0-0 draw by Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
FootballLondon looks to Conte’s first week in charge of Spurs and reports that players are happy with the coach’s approach and methods.
‘The players have been blown away by the training sessions so far under the Italian as he works on small details with them all and has already shown his man-management skills,’ the report claims.
‘The Italian also has that aura that makes him scary, not least because he has no issues with using confrontation if the situation requires it.’
Conte has won four Serie A titles and one Premier League during his coaching career.
Tottenham sit ninth in the Premier League table, six points off fourth-placed Liverpool.
They will host Leeds United in their first Premier League match after the November break.
A piece looking a little bit behind the scenes of Antonio Conte's first six days at Tottenham Hotspur, including the fear and respect he gets, his Ryan Mason request, his affection for Oliver Skipp and an expected tweak in formation in the weeks ahead. https://t.co/2KI6h21FOm

In every other workplace it would be called bullying 🙂
Another Premier League article in a Serie A forum. Enough already!
@Jon…
Only for the woke and spineless millennials.👍
These soft players need to grow a spine. I would gladly be bullied if I could earn that sort of money.
I think the point of the story is about Conte, an Italian, applying his skills with an English team.
Are you going to do a feature in Shevas first training session in Genoa? It is an Italian site supposedly but you just love the premier league
Hello @Rictor, as you know Football Italia covers the best stories about Serie A and Italian football, which includes Conte, who is currently in charge of Tottenham. And yes, we wrote a few stories about Sheva and Genoa, here you have two:

@Lorenzo please stop living in the past with the Conte articles.
He wasn`t man enough to face Allegri, Spalletti and Mourinho, just wanted to be payed.
Let him work in peace far away from Italy.
You can resume when he`s back in Italy, OK?
