Multiple reports are gathering steam this evening that Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik is on the verge of a Roma transfer, which would in turn push Edin Dzeko towards Juventus.

The Milik deal has to go through before Dzeko can be released, especially as the Serie A season begins this weekend.

According to various sources including La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttomercatoweb, Calciomercato.it, Sportitalia, Radio Kiss Kiss, Il Messaggero and LaRoma24.it, an agreement is imminent.

The rough figures are all the same, €24-25m plus €4-5m in performance-related bonuses.

Talks are down to the details and moving rapidly.

In turn, Juventus are ready to welcome Dzeko for €12m plus bonuses, especially as Luis Suarez is continuing to bicker with Barcelona over his remaining salary.

He is refusing to terminate his contract early unless he receives the full wages remaining.

Barca are in turn reportedly threatening to leave the Uruguayan in the stands for the remaining season of his contract.

Juventus need a centre-forward now, so Milik’s move to Roma will release Dzeko towards a Turin trip.
