Reports say Simone Zaza has asked Juventus to leave in January in order to get more playing time, with Watford linked.

The striker arrived from Sassuolo in the summer but has only played 367 minutes in all competitions so far this season after struggling for space behind Mario Mandzukic, Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala.

Calciomercato.com reports today that Zaza has asked the Bianconeri in the last few hours to let him leave in order to gain more playing time ahead of Euro 2016.

Calciomercato.com reports today that Zaza has asked the Bianconeri in the last few hours to let him leave in order to gain more playing time ahead of Euro 2016.

The 24-year-old wants more opportunities in the second half of the season in order to increase his chances of making Antonio Conte’s Italy squad for the tournament.

Watford, owned by the Pozzo family who also own Udinese, have made contact about the forward according to the report.

The website also believes that the Bianconeri will consider an outright sale, but only for a significant bid in the region of €14-15m.
