Roma are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to buy Chris Smalling from Manchester United this summer.

Smalling joined Roma on a season-long loan from United in August, without an option to buy.

Since then, talks have been ongoing between the two clubs over a permanent transfer, with the Giallorossi keen to lock down the defender.

Now, Tuttomercatoweb writes negotiations are “hot” and a deal should be done in June for around €15m.
