Roma are reportedly close to agreeing a fee of up to €30m for Sevilla and France midfielder Steven N’Zonzi.

According to Calciomercato.it, Roma ‘can close the deal’ for between €28m and €30m, with Sevilla climbing down from their original valuation of €35m.

It comes after Sport Mediaset claimed N’Zonzi had shaken hands on a four-year contract worth €3m a season, as had his agent-father with regards to commission.

The Andalusians, who lost the Supercopa to Barcelona on Sunday without the 29-year-old in the squad, are being tipped to replace him with Inter outcast Joao Mario.
