Milan have reportedly entered talks with Chelsea over a permanent deal for centre-back Fikayo Tomori.

The English defender arrived on loan in January and has proved to be a reliable asset for Stefano Pioli’s defence.

The coach reportedly hopes to continue with Fikayo at the back next term, but the option to buy for €28m remains a stumbling block.

The Sun reports Milan are in talks with the Blues to possibly lower the price-tag.

Milan could decide to sacrifice Alessio Romagnoli to finance the permanent deal for the young English defender.

Romagnoli’s contract expires in June 2022 and the Rossoneri could decide to cash in already this summer.
