The newspaper claims the agent pushed for a two-year contract, whilst the hierarchy in Aldo Rossi asks for at least three years on the new contract.

At the same time, the Diavolo reportedly considers the request for €10m a season as an excessive demand from the young goalkeeper.

Donnarumma has kept eight clean sheets in 21 Serie A games this term and his current deal expires in June.

The 21-year-old, capped 22 times by the Azzurri, has 231 appearances for the Diavolo since his debut in 2015.
