Inter have travelled to Spain without Romelu Lukaku in the squad for the match against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The Belgian suffered a muscle injury in the last Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk and multiple reports reveal he has not travelled to the Spanish capital and thus misses out on the big match against Los Blancos.

Lukaku has scored seven in seven so far this term but has not been called up for tomorrow’s match at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 27-year-old missed the 2-2 draw with Parma in Serie A on Saturday too and reports in Italy have revealed he could miss the match against Atalanta ahead of the next international break.

Tuttosport previously reported Inter want to keep the former Manchester United striker at Pinetina in Milan during the break, to avoid risking an extended spell out injured.

Lukaku has scored 55 goals in 87 games for Belgium and has bagged 41 goals in 58 games for the Nerazzurri since his move to San Siro in 2019.
