Former Parma coach Roberto D’Aversa has reportedly rejected an offer to take over Egypt.

Tuttomercatoweb reports the Italian coach was offered a lucrative three-year deal to take over the African national team.

The former Gialloblu coach has been tipped to take over a club in Serie A and has been linked with the role at Crotone and Torino, two sides who play each other in the last match before the next national break.

The 45-year-old helped the Crociati from Serie C to Serie A, spending four years at the Ennio Tardini, before he was replaced by Fabio Liverani ahead of the current campaign.

Parma finished 14th in Serie A 2018-19 and 11th in D’Aversa’s second season as coach in the the top flight.
