After the medical in the capital, the Sardinian newspaper reports Godin will travel to Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini’s offices in Milan to sign a two-year deal with the Casteddu.

Godin moved to San Siro last summer and helped the club to second in Serie A, reached the Coppa Italia semi-finals and finished runners-up in the Europa League.

The 34-year-old played 36 competitive games for the Beneamata.
