Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden did not train with England today and could miss the UEFA Euro 2020 Final against Italy on Sunday night.

England CT Gareth Southgate has received bad news regarding Foden’s conditions, as Sky Sports reports the City star will not take part in today’s training.

It’s uncertain if the midfielder will recover in time for the big game against the Azzurri at Wembley, and the broadcaster claims he is sitting out ‘as a precaution due to a minor knock’.

The report reveals he was the only absent as Southgate’s men trained as normal at St George’s Park ahead of the UEFA Euro 2020 Final.

Foden has played three times at the Euros this summer, starting twice against Croatia and Scotland in Group D.

The 21-year-old was left out of the team against Czech Republic and remained on the bench against Germany and Ukraine before entering to play the last 25 minutes of the 2-1 win over Denmark after extra time.
