Inter fans continue to show their support for the Nerazzurri at Appiano Gentile and dedicated a chant to Denmark playmaker Christian Eriksen, who is absent after suffering a cardiac arrest at the Euros.

The Dane collapsed in the final minutes of the first half of a 1-0 defeat to Finland at the European Championship, and Denmark doctor confirmed after that the former Ajax midfielder had suffered a cardiac arrest.

The chants for the Nerazzurri continued at Appiano Gentile, with the team responding by meeting the fans in the early hours of the preparations for next season.

New coach Simone Inzaghi and the players made themselves available for photos with the fans, who concluded with a chant directed at Eriksen, who is absent after getting a heart-starter device implanted.

Inzaghi said at his press conference on July 7 that Inter are waiting for the former Tottenham Hotspur star with ‘open arms’.
