However, Telelombardia is now reporting that Berlusconi told guests and business partners at a dinner at Villa Gernetto that he wants to sell the club.

“Would you be happy if I sold to a large Chinese consortium?” Berlusconi is reported to have asked.
“I have no doubt you’d be happy. I want to sell everything to the Chinese. The alternative is that you put in your money, because I’m not putting in any more.”
