Milan striker Carlos Bacca has reportedly landed in Spain ahead of his transfer to Villarreal, on loan with option to buy for €15.5m.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Colombia international arrived in Valencia this evening and will undergo a medical tomorrow.

The deal is believed to be a one-season loan worth €2.5m and an option to make it permanent in 2018 for another €15.5m.

Bacca turns 31 next month and was signed from Sevilla for €30m in the summer of 2015.

Last season, he scored 14 goals with five assists in 34 competitive games for the Rossoneri.

He has slipped down the pecking order at San Siro in recent months and will be replaced by Nikola Kalinic, who is on his way from Fiorentina for €25m plus bonuses.
