Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of finalising a €50m deal for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.

According to La Stampa, official confirmation of Alex Sandro’s switch could come in ‘the next few days’, although not before United face Chelsea in the FA Cup on Saturday.

The newspaper explains that will allow Matteo Darmian to move in the opposite direction, although the Italian would do so in a separate transfer.

The 27-year-old joined Juve from Porto in 2015 and has gone on to make 113 appearances for the Bianconeri, winning three domestic doubles.

However, he has been the subject of exit speculation since last year, with La Stampa noting the Brazilian is keen for ‘a change of scenery’.
