Atalanta boss Edy Reja doesn’t understand why Palermo sacked Beppe Iachini in the first place.
The Sicilians were beaten 3-0 in Bergamo today and confirmed they are considering a recall less than a month after hiring Davide Ballardini.
“I have some ideas, but I won’t express them here,” Reja told Sky Sport Italia.

“I have some ideas, but I won’t express them here,” Reja told Sky Sport Italia.
“I was disappointed for Iachini and frankly surprised too. The team had been doing well and today I saw a Palermo side with good quality in the ranks.”
Atalanta are now in sixth place, just three behind a Juventus outfit that’s back in the title race.
“Let’s reach the midway point of the season before making any evaluations,” warned Reja.
“It’s not bad for us to be so far up the table. We work without pressure and are happy with our work.
“Today we were perhaps less impressive in terms of performance, but sharper in front of goal.”
