Claudio Ranieri has made it clear “Roma are in the Scudetto race and we want to win it” ahead of tonight's showdown with Inter.

The Giallorossi had a disastrous start to the campaign but, much like the Nerazzurri under Leonardo, came back into the top spots.

“Roma are in the Scudetto race and we want to win it. We have the chance to close in on leaders Milan and anything is still possible in the standings.

“It will be an extremely tough challenge at San Siro, so we must battle and never give in,” said the Coach.

“I'm sure it will be very entertaining. We must be wary of all the surprises that Leonardo will spring on us.

“Up until the referee blows the final whistle, this game will not be over. We must never forget that lesson.”

Francesco Totti has not made the trip to Milan due to flu symptoms, while Philippe Mexes sits out a two-match ban.
