Roma have reportedly asked after Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater, recommended to them by ex-Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri.
According to Calciomercato.com, caretaker Coach Ranieri suggested his new club make an approach for the England international.
The 29-year-old won the Premier League in Ranieri’s fairy-tale team and moved to Chelsea in the summer of 2017 for €37.9m.
However, he has struggled for playing time at Stamford Bridge, particularly under Maurizio Sarri’s tenure.
