Aaron Ramsey reflected on the positives on his time with Juventus following the announcement of his contract termination yesterday, saying goodbye to the fans.

The Welsh midfielder joined the Bianconeri in July 2019 on a free transfer after his contract expired with Arsenal, signing a three-year deal worth around €7m net per season. Ramsey ultimately failed to live up to these figures, struggling with injury and inconsistent form.

Juventus agreed to terminate Ramsey’s contract yesterday, paying him a little over €3m to end his deal a year early. The Welshman made 69 appearances across all competitions for the Turin side, scoring six goals and providing six assists.

Ramsey bid farewell to the fans on his Instagram page, wanting to focus on the positive aspects of his time with Juventus.

“I want to focus on the positives and over all I have enjoyed my time in Torino. I am so grateful to the fans and Italian people who are warm, supportive and passionate and whom it’s been a pleasure to get to know over the three years. Thank you.

“I’ll never forget this experience we shared together. Good luck friends. Thank you very much.”

Ramsey became a much-maligned figure in Turin as the years progressed, with fans furious with his struggles staying fit and his burdensome wages. He spent six months on loan with Rangers last season.

  1. The only reason why Jube decided to get rid of Ramsey with a $3 mil severance package instead of paying for his full salary is because Ramsey didn’t know how to make Tiktok videos

Social media presence is the no 1 requirement to be a Jube’s player. Can’t wait to see who Jube will sign next? The Paul brothers perhaps?
