Palermo have joined Roma and Inter in the queue for Bologna star Gaston Ramirez, according to reports.

Ramirez is widely considered as the Rossoblu's best young player and numerous sides have been associated with his services.

Inter have been paired in the past, while rumours of a move to Roma gathered pace only yesterday.

However, Palermo are also contenders for his signature should Bologna be tempted into a sale – especially if the Rosanero release Javier Pastore.

The 20-year-old is contracted to the Stadio Dall'Ara outfit until June 2015, but his future is in doubt.

"Bologna want to build the team around him, but seeing as the situation is not terribly rosy, they should listen to the offers coming in for the lad," said agent Vincenzo D'Ippolito yesterday.

"Roma, as is well known, have made a proposal. Now we have to see what Bologna say.

"Gaston is very happy with this idea, as he wants to join Roma and challenge himself in such an important club.

"I think negotiations could reach a successful conclusion for €12-€13m."
