The agent of teen sensation Stephan El Shaarawy will soon hold talks with Genoa over his client's future.

The 18-year-old has spent this season on loan in Serie B with Padova and was a major inspiration as they reached the play-off Final.

However, Novara pipped them to the last spot in the top Division and El Shaarawy has seen his name linked with some big clubs.

"We'll have to see what happens," agent Roberto La Florio stated. "I'll have a meeting with Genoa President Enrico Preziosi.

"We'll have to see what happens," agent Roberto La Florio stated. "I'll have a meeting with Genoa President Enrico Preziosi.

"The President has previously told me that the plan was to keep him at Genoa in order to let him experience Serie A.

"However, there are a lot of sides who are interested in him and Milan have spoken directly to Preziosi."

Nevertheless, while the youngster may find it tough to appear for the Rossoneri with regularity, his representative feels that El Shaarawy would play at Marassi.

"If Genoa decide to keep him then I think it will be to increase his value, therefore I believe he will be a regular in the first team as Alberto Malesani, if he is the Coach, plays with a 4-3-3."

Malesani yesterday confirmed that he would succeed Davide Ballardini at the Stadio Ferraris, although he suggested that he will play with a 3-4-3.
