The two Italian giants have been linked, as have Barcelona, and the Frenchman faces spending the rest of the season on the bench if he isn’t sold next month.
“It’s a decision the club has taken following a meeting with the player,” Henrique told Yahoo France.

“It’s a decision the club has taken following a meeting with the player,” Henrique told Yahoo France.
“The player informed me that he would not sign a new contract, and that he wanted to leave the club for free at the end of the season, i.e at the end of his contract.
“For the player there will be a very clear consequence: he will remain on the bench for an indefinite period.
“Several months ago we had positive discussions with his representative, with the view to him staying with the club and signing a new contract.
“We also accepted the conditions of the player relating to the pitch, we’d discussed those conditions so he’d stay with us for years to come.
“Unfortunately discussions then totally stopped.
“It seems that the player and his representative have misled us for several months.
“This situation is disrespectful to the club and its fans, especially for a player who has been with us from the youth team for the first team. “A player who has always received the full support of the club…”
