Sampdoria striker Fabio Quagliarella said his goal ‘was not easy’ but revealed it was ‘a great satisfaction’ to score against Milan on Saturday.

The veteran made no mistakes and sent the visitors in the lead, but Jens Petter Hauge equalised for Milan and Franck Kessie was close to giving them the win at the death.
“It’s always a great satisfaction to score,” Quagliarella told Sky Sport Italia. “I’m aware of my strength and I try to take advantage of the opportunity when it arrives.
“I took half a look, it wasn’t easy, but it went well.”
The 38-year-old has scored 10 goals in Serie A this term but his contract with Samp expires in June 2021.
“You have to ask the President,” Quagliarella said when quizzed about his future. “He hasn’t called me, but I’m a professional.
“The President knows what he’s doing.”
