Le Parisien reports that Paris Saint-Germain are still in talks with Inter in an attempt to agree a deal for Milan Skriniar, but they’re not willing to raise their latest offer.
The 27-year-old Slovakian centre back has long been the Ligue 1 giants’ primary transfer target this summer, but they’re unwilling to match the €80m valuation set by the Nerazzurri. Inter do not want to lose Skriniar and Simone Inzaghi insisted that the defender would be staying, suggesting that the ‘transfer market is closed’.
As reported by Le Parisien, PSG are still hopeful of completing a deal for Skriniar, regardless of Inzaghi’s confidence. They have an offer worth around €60m on the table for the 27-year-old, €20m off the price tag, and have already agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old.
Talks are still ongoing and PSG have been adamant that no raise will come, leaving Inter to consider their options. The Nerazzurri seem unlikely to accept the offer at this stage, especially after the departures of Andrea Pinamonti and Cesare Casadei.

The risk for Inter is that Skriniar do not honour his word and sign an extension, specially now that the greed can be with him after that outrageous salary PSG offered him. Nothing is set in stone and Milan can walk for free next season
Inzaghi made it clear to Inter management that Skriniar can’t leave. I have all the confidence Inter will get an extension done. Skriniar doesn’t want to leave anyway.

Looks like he’ll leave Inter in the near future. He’s not going to stay at a club that is stone-cold broke when he is being offered riches elsewhere.
@frankie it may happen to other player, but not Skriniar. He is the same guy who fired his agent only to sign contract extension by representing himself several years ago.
