According to L’Equipe, PSG are ready to make Alessandro Florenzi’s loan move from Roma permanent.

The Italy international joined the Ligue 1 giants on loan this past September with PSG who have a purchase option of €9m.

Florenzi has two goals and two assists in 25 appearances with PSG so far this season and started seven games out of 11 with Mauricio Pochettino in the dug-out.

Florenzi assisted Kylian Mbappé in PSG’s 4-1 win away at Barcelona on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old is a product of Roma academy and played 280 games with the Giallorossi before moving to Valencia on loan in January 2020.

He moved to PSG shortly after his return to the capital at the end of the 2019-20 campaign and according to the French paper, his stay in Paris can become long-term if he continues to impress with his performances.

Florenzi made his senior Italy debut in November 2012 and has 40 Azzurri caps to his name.
