Paris Saint-Germain are still pushing for two Serie A stars this summer, raising their bid for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca and Inter defender Milan Skriniar.

The transfer window is in full swing and new PSG director of sport Luis Campos has his sights firmly set on the Italian market to bolster his squad.

According to Footmercato, Scamacca remains the first choice in attack for PSG, but the latest offer of €35m plus bonuses was rejected.

This is because Sky Sport Italia claim Sassuolo value the centre-forward at €50m, which is why he is priced out of the market for the other Serie A clubs showing interest, such as Milan.

Inter are also trying to get as much money as they can to sell Skriniar, knowing that he is the number one name on the list for Campos.

Here too, a proposal worth €50m was reportedly turned down, as the Nerazzurri are hoping for at least €70-80m, perhaps as much as €100m for the Slovakia international centre-back.

When it comes to both Scamacca and Skriniar, PSG are expected to make increased bids over the next few days.

  1. Skriniar’s contract expires next summer. If they really think they can get 80 mil for him they’re deluded. But it’s Inter, so delusion is a strong possibility…

  2. Skriniar would happily renew his contract and Inter fans hope he wouldn’t go even for 100M unless Moratta can’t find any other ways.

  3. Lukaku still had 3 years on his contract. Big difference. How do you know Skriniar wants to extend? You’ve spoken to him personally? Or you just as delusional?

  4. Zambrotta? what about you? Did you speak with him personally or you are putting baby tantrum?

  5. A player is worth what someone is willing to pay surely. 50m for Scamacca, 100m for Skriniar. 1m for Milan Fan. It’s all relative.

  6. Yep, Scamacca is worth what clubs are willing to pay. I don’t see the big deal about it honestly. Talented goal scorers with age on their side will always cost.
