Milan benchwarmer Lucas Paqueta could be on the market for €30m with Paris Saint-Germain and Leonardo ready to pounce, it’s reported.
It was Leonardo who first brought Paqueta to San Siro when he was their director in January 2019, purchased from Flamengo for €39m plus bonuses.
However, he has struggled for regular playing time this season and the change of system to 4-4-2 with the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic could revamp Milan’s transfer strategy.

Paqueta has not started any of the last six Serie A games, making just a five-minute cameo in the 0-0 draw with Sampdoria and not even warming up during Saturday’s 2-0 victory at Cagliari.
According to Calciomercato.com in Italy and le10sport in France, this opens the door for Leonardo to reunite with the 22-year-old at PSG.
The cost of the operation would have to be in the region of €30m.
Other Milan players potentially pushed out by the change of system are Suso and Krzysztof Piatek, who were also left on the bench throughout the Cagliari game.
