PSG sporting director Leonardo is said to be a huge admirer of the regista and tracked him when he was working for Milan.

The youngster has been likened to Andrea Pirlo and if he was to join the French champions, it would mirror the move that saw Marco Veratti move to Paris without ever having played in Serie A.

The Parisians have also been linked with Cagliari captain Nicolo Barella and Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
