Possibly battling it out for the Italy Under-21 international are Fiorentina, whose Coach Vincenzo Montella gave him his breakthrough at San Siro.

As for Silva, it is claimed new Diavolo boss Marco Giampaolo is ready to hand the Portuguese another chance once he returns from his loan spell at Sevilla.

He should be joined at Milan by Suso, whom Giampaolo would like to slot into the No 10 role in his 4-3-1-2 formation.

Finally, Di Marzio believes Milan have done all they can to bring in Ozan from Stuttgart, including showing a willingness to pay his €15m release clause, and that they are now waiting for the teenager defender to make a decision.

Meanwhile, expiring stopper Cristian Zapata should sign a two-year contract with Genoa as opposed to joining Sampdoria.
