Napoli will be hoping to keep up the pace in the early stages of the season with a win over a slow-starting Lazio in the third weekend of Serie A action.

The first round of games sees Udinese host Frosinone and Cagliari travel to Bologna at 17.30 UK time, whilst the latter matches sees Napoli take on Lazio and Atalanta welcome Monza at 19.45.

The defending champions have started the new season on form, winning their opening two games against Frosinone 3-1 and Napoli 2-0, putting them hot on the heels of Milan, who have won their first three outings.

Things have been a little different in the Italian capital, where Maurizio Sarri’s side fell to Lecce 2-1 and Genoa 1-0, leaving them with zero points at the bottom of the table.

Napoli’s only slight concern is Pierluigi Gollini, who could be forced to miss the match due to a hand issue. Elseid Hysaj, Matias Vecino and Pedro are all in doubt for Lazio due to various minor issues.

When these two teams met last season, Napoli secured a 2-1 win away but suffered a 1-0 defeat at home.
