Verona travel to the Mapei Stadium to face Sassuolo this afternoon before Venezia host Empoli.

The Neroverdi’s match against the Gialloblu kicks off at 11:30am UK time and the match in Venice will kick off later at 2pm UK time.

Sassuolo will be without star forward Domenico Berardi for today’s match, with the Italian missing out due to a yellow card suspension. Also unavailable are Federico Peluso, Filip Djuricic, Pedro Obiang and Matheus Henrique, all of whom are injured.

Verona won’t have talented youngster Ivan Ilić for the match after the Serbian picked up a red card in the 2-1 lost to Salernitana last week. Gianluca Frabotta, Daniel Bessa, Bosko Sutalo, Alessandro Berardi, Lorenzo Montipò, Pawel Dawidowicz and Davide Faraoni arę all absent as well due to injuries or COVID infections.

Venezia will not be able to count on Michael Svoboda in the match against Empoli this afternoon as he’s suspended following his red card in the 3-0 loss to Milan last week. Antonio Vacca is also unavailable after picking up an injury.

Mattia Viti is unavailable for Empoli today after picking up two yellow cards in the 5-1 loss to Sassuolo last weekend. Nicolas Haas, Federico Di Francesco, Riccardo Marchizza and Fabiano Parisi are all absent as well due to various injuries.
