Ante Rebic will start up front for Milan with Gian Piero Gasperini looking to Davide Zappacosta to replace the injured Robin Gosens.

Milan and Atalanta meet at the Gewiss Stadium at 19.45 UK time.

The Rossoneri must cope without Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud, so Rebic is tipped to start up front with Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao behind him.

Junior Messias is available for the first time this season and he may come off the bench in the second half. Franck Kessié is also likely to start on the bench with Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer featuring in the Rossoneri’s starting XI.

Simon Kjaer has recovered from an injury and should start close to Fikayo Tomori in the heart of the Diavoli’s defence.

Atalanta’s Davide Zappacosta is likely to start at left wing-back with Joakim Maehle on the right.

Zappacosta should replace the injured Robin Gosens who will remain out of action for two months with a muscle injury.

Hans Hateboer is also on the treatment table and will return to the pitch in November.

Duvan Zapata will lead La Dea’s attack with Ruslan Malinovskyi and Matteo Pessina behind him.
