Italy are expected to go with a front three of Federico Bernardeschi, Andrea Belotti and Federico Chiesa for tonight’s Euro 2020 qualifier in Armenia.

Bernardeschi has been tried as a false nine and in midfield under Roberto Mancini, but the Juventus man is set to take his usual role on the right wing this evening.

He should be joined up top by ex-Fiorentina teammate Federico Chiesa and Torino striker Andrea Belotti.

Elsewhere, the absences of Giorgio Chiellini and Cristiano Biraghi at centre-back and left-back will be filled by Alessio Romagnoli and Emerson Palmieri.

Finally, Nicolo Barella should see off late competition from Stefano Sensi for a midfield berth alongside Jorginho and Marco Verratti.

Armenia, meanwhile, are ready to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Roma new boy Henrikh Mkhitaryan as their No 10.

Mkhitaryan is arguably his country’s greatest-ever player, scoring 27 goals in 83 international caps.

Armenia are third in Group J after two victories and two defeats – six points behind leaders Italy, who have won four out of four.
