José Mourinho is not expected to rotate on his return to San Siro against Inter, while at least three Inter starters will rest.

The Coppa Italia quarter-finals begin tonight at the Stadio Meazza, with Inter hosting Mourinho’s Roma. It kicks off at 20.00 UK time.

Felipe Caicedo, Joaquin Correa and Robin Gosens are injured for the Nerazzurri, while Stefan de Vrij, Denzel Dumfries and Edin Dzeko should rest. Matias Vecino is one yellow card away from suspension.

Roma and Inter have won four games each in the last 13 at the Stadio Meazza in all competitions, picking up five draws.

Inter qualified for the Coppa Italia semis for two years in a row. They haven’t managed three since 2011. On the other hand, Roma were eliminated at the same stage (quarter-finals) in the last two years.

José Mourinho is without Leonardo Spinazzola. Lorenzo Pellegrini is available but will likely start on the bench. Tammy Abraham, Afena-Gyan and Roger Ibañez would miss the semi-final with a yellow card.

Roma are the team with the most goals scored in the final 15 minutes of the first half in Serie A (13), but have failed to beat Inter in the last nine games across all competitions.

Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Skriniar, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Sanchez, Lautaro.

Roma (3-4-1-2): Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Karsdorp, Veretout, Oliveira, Vina; Mkhitaryan; Zaniolo, Abraham.
