Genoa President Enrico Preziosi insists ‘there have only been enquiries’ for Krzysztof Piatek and that only a ‘monstrous’ offer will take the striker to Milan.

Piatek was reported to be ‘very close’ to Milan on Tuesday, but Preziosi followed in the footsteps of Genoa sporting director Giorgio Perinetti by warning only big money could tempt the club into a sale.

“There have only been enquiries,” he told Il Secolo XIX.

“There are no offers, neither is there anything serious. If a monstrous offer arrives then we’ll weigh it up.

“However, for now, I repeat nothing has come in for Piatek, nor do we need to sell him.”
