Multiple sources in Italy claim Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis somehow inspired a two-goal comeback against Milan on Sunday by speaking to his players in the dressing room during the half-time break.

Napoli went to the break down to two goals against Milan on Sunday, but goals from Matteo Politano and Giacomo Raspadori in the second half helped the defending Serie A champions secure an eventual 2-2 draw.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport and Radio Kiss Kiss, President De Laurentiis had a role in Napoli’s comeback as he rushed inside the dressing room during the break to speak to Rudi Garcia and his players.

De Laurentiis wanted to ‘shake’ the group and motivate Napoli players ahead of the second half. According to the report, he also spoke to coach Garcia who informed ADL about his tactical plans and potential substitutions.

De Laurentiis had done the same thing in the past, speaking to players inside the dressing room at the break during the tenures of Edy Reja and Roberto Donadoni.
