Cesare Prandelli has reportedly asked Valencia to bring Milan and Italy midfielder Riccardo Montolivo to Spain in January.

The former Fiorentina Coach took over at the Mestalla over the weekend, signing a two-year contract.

According to TodoMercadoWeb.es, Prandelli presented a list of players to Valencia owner Peter Lim that he would like to reinforce his squad.

Montolivo is believed to be one of the options for their midfield.
