Chelsea saw their £58m offer for Kalidou Koulibaly rejected, confirmed Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Currently in London for an event, the movie producer spoke to Sky Sports News HQ.
“They offered to me £30, 35, 40, 45, 50 [million],” declared De Laurentiis.
“To Mr. Conte I said, '[The] marina is behind me, follow me', I offered him that. Last moment, two days before the closing of the market, I hear £58 [million] – something like that.”

Koulibaly remains in the Napoli squad and recently signed a new contract holding him to the Stadio San Paolo until June 2021.
It is not known if there is a release clause or how much it stands at.
