“Napoli weren’t just missing intensity, Sarri’s team were not on the right level from a physical point of view.

“Then there’s Higuain: he’s suitable to be a poacher, but not to take certain tensions.”

Prandelli led Italy to Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup, and the former Fiorentina Coach gave his opinion on Antonio Conte’s Azzurri.

“We’ll see a very organised team which will reflect the philosophy of the CT, one which can cause problems for their opponents.

“I don’t want to name names, Conte is pursuing a path with certain players and will stick with those who have been there in the last two years.

“Andrea Pirlo? That’s something only Conte can decide, he’ll be in contact and they’ll decide together.”
