Inter and Napoli have agreed terms for Matteo Politano, while today the player also reportedly gave the all-clear to working out a contract.

The wide forward is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans and had a medical with Roma last week, but Inter pulled the plug on the straight swap with Leonardo Spinazzola.

Napoli stepped in with their own proposal to take Politano on loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season for a total €25m.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more, Politano’s agent Davide Lippi held a series of meetings this evening in Milan, including with the player and Napoli director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli.

Inter and Napoli have agreed the transfer, now Politano has to work out personal terms with the Partenopei.

Sky Sport Italia suggest Fernando Llorente could go to Inter as part of an exchange, but Parma have also requested the Spaniard after Roberto Inglese’s injury.
