Juventus defender Alex Sandro trained separately from his teammates at Continassa this morning, while Paul Pogba joined the team and had a brief chat with boss Massimiliano Allegri.

The Bianconeri are preparing for Thursday’s first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 against SC Freiburg at their training centre in Turin.

Alex Sandro suffered a minor muscle injury in a 1-0 loss against Roma on Sunday, so he trained separately from the rest of the group.

As reported by Ilbianconero.com, who attended the first 15 minutes of the training session open to the media, Mattia De Sciglio, Paul Pogba and Matias Soulé warmed up alone, but then joined the group for the rest of the training session.

The France international had a brief chat with Massimiliano Allegri on the pitch. The ex-Manchester United midfielder has recently returned to action after a meniscus injury suffered during the pre-season.

Academy players Enzo Barrenechea and Riccardo Turicchia trained with the senior team this morning.
